The Girls Are Back For Boise EnduroCross
The championship is back on for this weekend’s visit to Idaho

Irvine, CA (October 26, 2012) – For the first time, the girls have their own multi round championship series as part of 2012 GEICO AMA EnduroCross series, presented by Lucas Oil. And this weekend’s Boise, Idaho event will be round four of that five event battle to be the top female EnduroCross racer.

KTM’s Maria Forsburg comes in as the points leader with two wins, including a win at the X Games. Forsburg has also been dominating the GNCC Championship and is currently undefeated in 2012. But while Forsburg has been focused on GNCC events, Louise Forsley and Chantelle Bykerk have been competing in non-points paying rounds of the EnduroCross series honing their skills. Forsley, the US Trials champion, is the only female to ever beat Forsburg at an EnduroCross event and she seems poised to make this a great championship. Canadian Chantelle Bykerk is the dark horse for the championship as she has been a consistent podium finisher and even won two of the non-points paying EnduroCross events this year. So keep your eyes on these amazing racers as they attack the challenging EnduroCross track this weekend.

Of course, the men will be competing this weekend as well and Taddy Blazusiak is back to his winning ways. But Taylor Robert, Mike Brown, Cody Webb, Colton Haaker, Cory Graffunder, Justin Soule, Kyle Redmond, Kevin Rookstool and Geoff Aaron have all proven that they can challenge Blazusiak this season. And just making the eleven rider main Expert event at an EnduroCross is a serious challenge so you get a full night of bar banging action to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Like all EnduroCross events, the pit area on the backside of the Idaho Center will be open all day for free and the arena is also open for free for the daytime qualifiers and MVP Racing pro hot laps that determine the gate picks for the heat races. So plan to come early to meet the riders and see a full day of great action.
