SNOWBOARDER MAGAZINE’S THE LAUNCH PRESENTED BY RED BULL COMES TO PARK CITY, UTAH APRIL 5TH – 9TH, 2011
SAN CLEMENTE, CA (April 4, 2011) — Each year SNOWBOARDER invites a select number of the world’s best snowboarders under the age of 18 to The Launch, a private film/photo shoot that enables this next generation of elite riders to come together in one park to raise the bar for all. This year, these up-and-coming talents will converge upon Park City Mountain Resort in Utah April 5-9, 2011 for a week of innovative and unabashed charging.
"For four years, SNOWBOARDER Magazine’s The Launch has stocked our sport’s talent pool with a fresh breed of rookies," said Pat Bridges, Editor of SNOWBOARDER Magazine. "On April 5th, 2011 over 50 of the best emerging riders in the world will be set loose on Park City, Utah with their sites set on progression."

This editorial event aims to introduce talented young riders to the larger snowboarding audience by giving them a place to experiment, express their creativity, and connect with their peers. This unique environment fosters progression and the results are always nothing short of remarkable.
Attendees of The Launch consistently go on to win snowboard contests across the globe like the X Games, Air and Style, and the Dew Tour to name just a few. “The Launch showcases the next generation’s superstars," said SNOBOARDER Publisher Jeff Baker. "It’s exciting to see who will emerge as the next Shaun "Mini-Shred" Palmer."
