(Dec. 5, 2012) — The 42nd annual SURFER Poll Awards airs live online at SurferPoll.com and on Time Warner Cable SportsNet in Hawaii (Ch. 1250 or 250) tomorrow, Thursday, Dec. 6 beginning at 7 p.m. HST (9 p.m. PST). The broadcast will re-air on Time Warner Cable in both Hawaii and the US Mainland (Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and Desert Cities) and on demand on SurferPoll.com.
The annual awards show, which brings out the who’s who of professional surfing, honors the Top 10 men and Top 5 women surfers as voted on by fans and the top videos and performances of the year.
Now in its 42nd year, the 2012 SURFER Poll Awards will take place Dec. 6, 2012, at the Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii, prior to the final event of the Triple Crown of Surfing. Attendance is by invitation only, but fans the world over will get a front row ticket to the exclusive event either online or in front of the television.
