Overview: International Surfing Day was founded in 2004 to celebrate the sport of surfing and raise awareness and support for our world’s beach and coastal environments. Since it’s humble beginnings International Surfing Day (ISD) has grown into a global phenomenon – with over 100 event locations worldwide (including 65 events in the United States alone). International Surfing Day is the ideal viral way to align with environmentally conscious surfers and ocean lovers. There are no seating capacity and there are no parking issues. International Surfing Day is as big as we make it.
