Digital Programmatic Specialist

Location: El Segundo, New York, Irvine or San Clemente
Overview:

Source Interlink Media is seeking a Digital Programmatic Specialist for either the El Segundo, New York, Irvine or San Clemente office. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional problem solver with the ability to think creatively.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all existing programmatic demand partners (contracts, SIM products, individual campaigns, etc.)
  • Optimize programmatic platforms and SIM products for maximum revenue generation
  • Conduct periodic evaluation of SIM RTB programs, identify new opportunities, and present recommendations for growth (i.e. new technologies, improved optimization, ad placement audits, etc.)
  • Serve as single point-of-contact for all internal and external RTB-related inquiries, and pass along all relevant data to appropriate stakeholders
  • Track the overall performance of RTB campaigns and serve as an escalation contact for investigating and discrepancies and campaign issues with programmatic demand partners
  • Identify and develop opportunities for improving post-sale execution processes and practices for greater efficiency and higher quality
  • Communicate to upper management problems or issues with RTB campaigns and/or process
  • Manage monthly RTB revenue and performance reporting to SIM management and finance teams
Education/Experience:
  • B.A. or B.S. or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience/education in Graphic Design
  • 3+ years of experience/education with Digital/Online Advertising Technology
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Excellent skills in decision-making, multi-tasking, communication and diplomacy are a must
  • 2 years of experience with RTB/Ad Network platforms with strong understanding of the process of implementing programmatic orders between seller and buyer
  • Strong spreadsheet skills and experience manipulating excel data and third-party revenue reporting
  • Proficient in most PC-based applications, specifically in Microsoft Office suite or equivalent
  • Experience with and knowledge of the technical aspects of digital media and the digital marketplace, including online and mobile products
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to identify problems and solutions, streamline systems and set standards
  • Working knowledge of Google DoubleClick/DFP, Google AdEx and Rubicon

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The intern program is designed to provide interested students with hands on experience in the publishing industry. Because today’s students may be tomorrow’s leaders, our desire is to provide these individuals with a meaningful and educational experience. BIKE MAGAZINE EDITORIAL INTERNSHIP

Summary
  • BIKE Magazine is currently looking for an editorial intern. To be eligible, you must be able to receive school credit for the internship, which is non-paid and located in San Clemente, CA. This position will report directly to Nicole Formosa to assist in a series of projects related to content creation surrounding Bike Magazine and Bikemag.com.
Functions and Responsibilities:

- Complete office and editorial tasks, including transcribing, research, cataloging, etc.
- Complete general office tasks such as mailing, filing, etc.
- Write short copy for bikemag.com and/or assist in interviewing athletes. Post links to bikemag.com stories on various social media sites.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Experience writing, editing, and general ability to make words from sentences in an interesting and clear manner.
- Ability to transcribe and conduct interviews

CANOE & KAYAK MAGAZINE EDITORIAL INTERNSHIP

Summary
  • Canoe & Kayak Magazine is currently looking for an editorial intern. To be eligible, you must be able to receive school credit for the internship, which is non-paid and located in San Clemente, CA. This position will report directly to Jeff Moag to assist C&K staff in all aspects of creating a bi-monthly magazine, with an emphasis on editing and writing.

This position will report directly to Jeff Moag to assist C&K staff in all aspects of creating a dynamic website, with an emphasis on assigning and editing stories, photos and video.

  • POWDER Magazine is currently looking for an editorial intern. To be eligible, you must be able to receive school credit for the internship, which is non-paid and located in San Clemente, CA. This position will report directly to John Davies to assist in a series of projects related to the creation of POWDER Magazine’s monthly print issues, as well as the creation and translation of print graphics to POWDER Magazine’s various digital mediums (website, Facebook, and other social channels).
Functions and Responsibilities:

- Assist in the development, creation, and building of editorial content for Powder.com.
- Assist in the editorial process by fact-checking and copy-editing.
- Assist in the organization of incoming/outgoing product for the Buyer’s Guide and Apparel Guide.

TRANSWORLD CONTENT DISTRIBUTION INTERNSHIP

Summary
  • GrindMedia is currently looking for a TransWorld Media content distribution intern. To be eligible, you must be able to receive school credit for the internship, which is non-paid and located in Carlsbad, CA. This position will report directly to Drew Coalson to assist the Content Distribution Department for creation and management of digital content for all titles at TransWorld Media.
Functions and Responsibilities (Listed in order of importance):

- YouTube video optimization and keeping the channels and playlists well maintained.
- Maintaining content for shop listings and athlete profiles.
- To assist magazine producers, associate magazine producers, web developers and events staff in all aspects of developing multimedia content and live events.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
